Had a tech visit my mom's house in sedona shadows. Replace the thermostat and left the wires exposed..charge my $3500.00.

Installation of our new heat pump was professional and any questions we had in getting used to this new system were timely answered and resolved. Nick explained and answered everything to our satisfaction and we are very happy.
They are under new ownership and it is a disaster. No customer service, no warranty for their work and no respect for customers that they have done work for. They have destroyed the good name that Dave and Jon stood for. Under no circumstance let this company touch your AC. They messed mine up so bad it didn't last 2 years and they won't stand behind their faulty work.
I would never allow them to touch anything on my heating/Ac unit again. After putting in a new unit which they ordered the wrong one the first time, they installed a piece of junk 7 months later, yes I said 7 months later and it didn't last 2 years before it's spraying water and coolant everywhere. When I called them back they serviced it to the tune of almost $700.00. It did not even come close to fixing the problem.
When I called them back 2 weeks later they came out and said yep it's leaking and left without fixing anything again and charged me again for a service call over 100. Dollars. They were supposed to call me and never did.
Yep, I still have water all over and the unit isn't fixed!
I repeat!!!@@@ do not let them touch your unit. Call any company but Best by Farr or you will pay up the nose and get no service, high charges and really lousy service if any at all.

Chris, Mike, Wade, and Lupe are knowledgeable, friendly, pay great attention to detail, and most importantly cleaned up after the installation was complete. I will highly recommend Best by Farr for their great service, very competitive price, and knowledge. If you need a new heating and cooling system, give them a call and ask for Chris!!

Finally, I've found the real deal for HVAC service! Perhaps the third time's the charm. Had two other companies come last year (including one of the big guys I expected much better from) to check and service my unit, who gave me conflicting info, tried to sell me stuff I didn't need, and overcharged for their dubious service. This year I called Best By Farr, and am very happy with the service and explanation by Travis, who checked everything out, gave my system a clean bill of health, and explained some things to me really well. No attempts to sell me unnecessary stuff, and no false info about parts wearing out. Just a not super low but reasonable service charge, and a skilled, knowledgeable tech with integrity. Highly recommended!
